Kingswood lunches

Kingswood provides our school lunches.

Your child has the option of either bringing packed lunches to school or having a hot meal.  All children in Reception and Key Stage 1 will have the option of a free hot meal or packed lunch each day, but there is a charge for Key Stage 2 children.

We actively encourage good table manners and, where necessary, teach children cutlery skills.  As part of our Healthy Eating programme we actively encourage lunchboxes containing healthy foods and request that no fizzy drinks or sweets are sent in to school for lunches.

Children are allowed a healthy snack during morning break – fruit, a cereal bar or similar (no chocolate, sweets, crisps, cake etc. please).  We would also ask that you provide a separate small water bottle (must have a pull-up, sports style lid) for drinks during the day filled with water only.  Squash and juice are allowed at lunchtime only.
