Houses
We introduced 'Houses' as an integral part of our school life as we believe that the Houses promote an atmosphere of working together.
Each child belongs to one of four houses represented by a colour; siblings are in the same House:
Kelmarsh Yellow |
Holdenby Green |
Cottesbrooke Red |
Lamport Blue |
House Captains are voted in at the start of the new academic year by the pupils and teachers. House Captains carry out additional roles across the school such as Reading for Pleasure monitors, Digital Leaders and Mental Health Ambassadors.
Our houses are linked to key historical buildings in our locality so the children can see the importance and value of our heritage in our county. We are fortunate to be close to Cottesbrooke Hall, Holdenby House, Lamport Hall and Kelmarsh Hall - we hope that the children will see the significance of these estates and perhaps visit them during their lifetime.
